I told my mom about my cuts. I told her at the threat of the boy I've fallen for, threatening to tell my mom himself. I said that I needed therapy. She asked me why. I showed her my arm. She sits alone, and she's starting to cry. She feels like she needs to die. Her friends never remember her existence, she's all alone, it seems. Not even those who had said they cared before, text her, unless she does first. She even tested to see if anyone, besides the boy with the puppy crush who she doesn't feel the same about, would text her first. I remember when I was younger, how summer was always so free, and full of fun. No shoes, dirt on my feet; catching fireflies, and letting them go; weeks at my grandparents, eating tomatoes straight from the vine; swinging on my backyard swing, paint on my toes, to mark how high I could go on a tree branch; sleepovers with my friend, staying up late and laughing; swimming in the pool, or just floating and reading; water balloon fights, that dissolved into real ones over who won the match; sitting with my Papaw on his screened-in front porch, talking, or watching the hummingbirds; waking up early with my Papaw, and going to pick blackberries;

My Bio

I picked a random name based on my name in Latin class. Nemesis is the Roman goddess of revenge, and revenge is a synonym of avenge. So there's my username back-story. I don't know if I'll actually upload anything, simply because I don't want to go through the headache of trying to work my mom's scanner, a bit of laziness, and a lack of time to really create anything, due to piles of homework. I will probably be submitting various poems and things though. For now, that's all I'll really be submitting. COMMENTS AND CRITIQUES ARE APPRECIATED AND WELCOME WITHIN REASON! I really like lineart. Honestly, it's fun to just print and color them. I'll probably never post anything I've colored, but oh well. I get joy from coloring them.
